2020 · Pandemic relief | Wuhan At the outbreak of COVID-19 in Wuhan, the company and its founder Dr. DAI Qifan moved immediately to identify a donation channel through the pandemic task force and campus hospital of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). With coordination from local government authorities, a procurement route for protective supplies was opened, and 2,000 disposable medical masks were donated to the university community hospital. Dr. DAI Qifan also donated through the Hubei Shanxi Merchants Chamber of Commerce and other organisations, and took part remotely in the Wuhan relief efforts of public-interest volunteers. Working through COVID-19 relief WeChat groups, he helped arrange hospital admission for two strangers who had posted appeals for help on WeChat Moments and Weibo, one of them a relative of a fellow alumnus.
