The axial plaza of a youth community is where people gather at night, so the installation has to be legible from afar and triggerable up close: landmark and participation have to hold at once.
The youth community needed a perceptible night-time marker that gathers people and keeps the public axis attractive after dark.
The axis plaza carries a lighting-interactive landmark installation: recognisable from afar as a visual landmark, yet approachable and triggerable as an interaction interface for everyday gatherings and events.
Matched to the community's youth character, balancing landmark recognition with participatory interaction, and serving as a night-time gathering place.
